The title of this postcard cracked me up. Like “what isn’t the residential section of Schenectady, NY?” At least now-a-days.

But I haven’t a clue where these houses are.

Cotton Factory Hollow Bridge 

The old Cotton Factory Hollow Bridge connects Hulett Street in the Hamilton Hill section of Schenectady to Francis Avenue in Mont Pleasant. There’s a new bridge there, well, maybe built in the early 1970’s. I’ll try to find out.

It used to be called (when I was a kid) suicide bridge. I don’t even know if anyone ever committed suicide by jumping off it but when I was a kid, it was scary.
