The old Cotton Factory Hollow Bridge connects Hulett Street in the Hamilton Hill section of Schenectady to Francis Avenue in Mont Pleasant. There’s a new bridge there, well, maybe built in the early 1970’s. I’ll try to find out.
It used to be called (when I was a kid) suicide bridge. I don’t even know if anyone ever committed suicide by jumping off it but when I was a kid, it was scary.
