From top to bottom, left to right the postcards depict the following Schenectady Churches.

Trinity Methodist Church
Bellevue Reformed Church

Hope Chapel *
St. Mary’s Catholic Church
Cobble Stone Church
First Baptist Church
Presbyterian Church
St. George’s Episcopal Church

* Hope Chapel is long gone having been demolished many years ago. But we don’t know when, why or even where it was in the city.

I’m not sure what the number on State Street was for the Edison Hotel. I’m not even sure which of these buildings is the Edison Hotel.

Plotter Kill Falls, Schenectady

You can get to these falls by taking Rt. 159 halfway to Mariaville. They are in Schenectady County I believe in Princetown, but I’m not sure.

Central Park Fountain

The fountain is the same one in operation today. But I don’t recall ever seeing it lit up in colors.

Crescent Park Bandstand

I don’t know the when’s of this postcard, but Crescent Park is now known as “Veterans Park.” I’ll try to find out when it was renamed.
