The old Cotton Factory Hollow Bridge connects Hulett Street in the Hamilton Hill section of Schenectady to Francis Avenue in Mont Pleasant. There’s a new bridge there, well, maybe built in the early 1970’s. I’ll try to find out.

You can see a depiction of the State Armory to the left of the hotel in the postcard on the right. This is only one of the several Western Gateway Bridges that has connected Schenectady to Scotia crossing the Mohawk River.
