You can see a depiction of the State Armory to the left of the hotel in the postcard on the right. This is only one of the several Western Gateway Bridges that has connected Schenectady to Scotia crossing the Mohawk River.

This building is at the northeast corner of Union Street at Seward Place. It was the public library but is now part of Union College.

The picture on the left shows the post office prior to an addition. The second postcard  is as our post office, Jay Street (the longer side) and Liberty Street looks today with the exception of a handicap ramp on the Liberty Street side and no trees.
